Hey What up people. We are the Cutta Camp Boys, and represent southern Hip Hop to the fullest. We are staged over three states, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee in the respective cities of Birmingham, Atlanta, and Chattanooga. We have been making music as a group since 2003 but as individuals for much longer. Check us out and tell us what you think. You can email us at cuttacamp@hotmail.com or you can call (678) 468-7184. Preciate it.
Why this name?
The name CCB really has no historical meaning. It's just what we called ourselves.
Do you play live?
We love to play live. We are willing to travel as long as we can afford it and would love to do a show for you.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
As far as the internet is concerned, there are the positives and negatives. Positive would be the exposure of the artist as far getting his/her material out there to the public. The negative, everyone knows what the internet can do for the bootlegger. So there are pros and cons.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Right now we are looking for a distributer. Our label is Huslas Repazent Records, based in Chattanooga, TN
Band History:
Huslas Repazent Records was founded in January of 2003 by Larry "N.U.G.A. maan" Zeigler, Cornelius "Pop Cowne" Yates, and Joey "Moe Tal" Davis. Our first recording "Vallarian" later went on our first promotional disc also with the same title. In January of 2004, Prajek Maphia, a sub-group of Cutta Camp Boys, released there album 2-Faced with hit songs such as 2 Much, Belvadere, and Flip Flop Hoes.
Currently, we are in the process of completing the upcoming album "Lyrical Triangle" a 12 to 16 track (we don't know yet) album set to sell in early of next year.
Your influences?
Our musical influences vary from each individual in the group. However, we are all southern so are roots southern artists, yet we take it another level with our lyrics that northern listeners can appreciate.
Favorite spot?
Right now anyhere that loves to hear our sound
Equipment used:
Our music is made with the Roland Fusion 5, and the Korg Triton LE. The two make a deadly combination.
