Kick Doe Ent. was founded in mid 2001. The Co-founders included;
C.E.O Mr.Scrill, 100 Proof, and Bane. The three met while working in
the Computer Tech Support field. Each possessed different talents
and knowledge of the music industry and they decided to ban
together and form an independent label. They began to pool their
resources and later developed a tight roster of Artists. Although,
neither member of the group were related, each person knew of a
friend or family member that had talent. Soon, upper management
and artists on Kick Doe began to branch out into separate cities.
Although this meant alot of travel for meetings and things of that
nature, KDE did not let this stop them. Instead of letting this become
a problem, the members of KDE kept in contact and continued to
operate the business remotely. However due to differences of
opinion and contrasting business goals, the other two co-founders
are not with the label. Mr. Scrill remains and has assembled an
ensemble of heavy hitters to get Kick Doe to the next level.
We Have Added New Members and have also gotten stronger and are attempting to gain more and more fans, and build something for us to be proud of. and continuing to bring that fire and hungriness to a starving, saturated industry.
