Why this name?
It was given to me by a close friend, who is now serving our country in Iraq in the United States Army. This entire project is dedicated to his bad-ass-ness.
Do you play live?
I don't play live, because i am still learning how to play real instruments again after years of being out of practice. perhaps you want to have a jam session and give me some tips? email me!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Eliminates the middle man. Lets me choose my licensing. Introduces me to fantastic friends and people whom i share music with!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd sign with Island or Nothing records ONLY. and probably not even Island. You hear me, Trent!? Let me feel the fiber of your fabric, mate!
Band History:
I've been writing music since around 1997, starting with a macintosh using $110 tracking software. I can't for the life of me remember what the name of it is right now. Then when i got heavily into PCs(Due to price concerns) i used ModPlug Tracker (choir is written in modplug, see my music page), which is now called MPT, on sourceforge. Trackers allow you to write music using samples of sound, arranging them in a spreadsheet like grid on the screen. think of how a player piano operates, and you'll have a grasp of 1 track of a Tracker working. modplug allowed 64 channels (tracks) with nearly unlimited samples and patterns.
Then i screwed around with psycle and cooledit; until i landed on reason. I never really liked reason until i really dug in and just started using it completely by itself. I looked at FL Studio(Formerly Fruity Loops), and never could get in to how it worked. Reason was the first sequencer i ever learned how to use, and now i'll never go back to trackers again.
Currently my aresenal includes (but is not limited to) Gigastudio, Cubase, Reason, Adobe Audition, Cool Edit Pro 2.1, Sony Minidisc portable studio, 3 expensive microphones, an acoustic guitar, an electric bass, An oxygen 8 V1 midi controller with control surfaces.
I use a lot of free effects in my music (especially my LATEST music). dBlue Glitch is my favorite. and i will link back to the other guy as soon as i have his permission to do so. but his stuff is IDMers wetdream material.
Other than that, you'd really just have to see my work in progress, and luckily, with the magic of video, SOON YOU CAN! look back here soon for my first music video of epic boringness! YAY!

Your influences?
Nine inch nails, Manson, ColorBox, The Shizit, MSI, Omar Santana, Ron D Core, The Dark Raver, Mental Theo, and the list goes on.
Favorite spot?
Currently my favorite spot is wherever friends are. Sometimes playin games, sometimes watching videos, sometimes just BSing about life. I go the underground route, ladies and gentlemen!
Equipment used:
See band history. But i can list some otherstuff here. I have 60 or so gigs of samples i've collected from various places around my travels and the internet as well. I use a lot of freeware tools to write my music, as i am thrifty, but sometimes i get to sit in with some people that have really really good equipment and write on their tools as well. That's good times.
