From bangging on pots and pans in his youth to buckets in the backyard.....comes that bangger of country fried noise from the East Texas area. He goes by C.L.WILL aka Da Black Cloud.
Why this name?
C.L.WILL is just a short version of Carlton L. Williams.
Do you play live?
I sit up in my lab and do what i do until them crew gets word on open mic jams at talent shows or freak fest shows out in the country.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It get's music out there.....in good and bad ways...nuff said on that one.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Just depends on who it is and what the contract says. Depends on the money and depends on if my lawyer think it's all good.....after that then I would sit and think it all out myself.
Band History:
I started playing drums in the 6th grade. I was in band with another lable called Doepoe Music Inc. So yall check them out to. Them are my kinfolks. I played drums all in highschool and kept going in my church and decided one day to get the stuff I needed to do it all at home...and stay home and make music and cd's.
Your influences?
UGK influenced me a long time ago. They let it be known that folks from small cities can make it big too. Oh yeah I'm into alot of motown r&b and guitars.I'm into alot of musical things cause being original and creative is what it's all about.

Dallas,Tx and Houston,Tx, Atlanta,Ga....plenty more
