I'm actually just one guy. I hook up a lot with friends. I'm also in a group called Poortwachters. It's my best friend and me. Lately it slowed down with us musicaly that is, so I continiuted by my self. It's mostly posityve hip hop, some with a message and some about nothing but good times. Starded in august 2003.
Why this name?
My best friend and I lived in the same house. The metro line that we took to get home was named Poortwachters. Poortwachters means gatekeepers. Gatekeepers of hip hop, guard it to keep it real
Do you play live?
We don't have a lot of experience with live preforming. We did 2 gigs and a couple of freestyles. But it is so great to be there on stage
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great, it's so much easier to accces other music from around the world. Without internet you had 2 look 4 days 2 find the good underground hiphop. With internet its just 5 minutes work. It also helped a lot for people hooking up with other rappers. Not just hip hop but in all music genres.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends... If I could keep musical freedom and a fair deal, why not?

Your influences?
I get my inspiration in all kindes of music. From soul to rock and from hiphop to classic and back to trance. The music I make is hip hop.
Favorite spot?
2 spots: My home studio and the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. In the summer that is.
Equipment used:
I have an Alesi studio 24 and a Pentium 4 computer. All the beats are samples tweaked, cut and pasted rearanged.
