Hi everyone! This is LOS BANANAS, a post-rock band from RUSSIA. We are 9 guys and and a girl playing melodic music for your ears' enjoyment. We've been around for about 10 years already, experimenting with various styles and genres from nu-metal-core to pop-music and clicks'n'cuts/IDM electronica, but now we concentrated on guitar-oriented post-rock mixed with electronica with a good deal of sludge when playing live. What distinguishes us from other bands is that we use accordeon, melodica, flute, tenor-sax, etc. and dig complicated structures and time-signatures. In 2005 we had a release of our double CD featuring two EPs: "Supplementary CD For Various Purposes" and "Los Bananas & Sasha Rastich" presented on SoundClick in its entirety. As to the still-heavy side of Los Bananas' music, it finds its reflection on the recent instrumental album entitled "Con il tempo che passa, ricoperta di polvere, la bellezza sfiorita rimane sempre immortale..." which was recorded live and released by INDIE-GO! in autumn, 2006.
WE LUST FOR WORLD DOMINATION!!!
We play live considerably often. And we like it a lot. The problem is usually with the balance of all the instruments we use - they're too many but that's all right. We also use a noise generator to insert noises and distorted samples between songs.
