An instrumentalist / synthesist since the 1970’s, FRAZ incorporates an eclectic range of styles, from Jazz, Funk, Rock & Hip Hop, through contemporary classical & baroque, to the Electro, Drum&Bass, and Techno for which he has become notorious.
FRAZ has performed in a variety of circumstances: music festivals and conferences throughout the east coast; recording sessions in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.; and countless venues throughout the country, including CBGB & OMFUG in New York City, Newark Symphony Hall in New Jersey, and resorts from Ocean City, MD to Flagstaff, AZ.
In addition to numerous performances, FRAZ has remained a prolific recording artist. His most recent release is a compilation entitled “Evolving in Obscurity: a 25-year retrospective of solo recordings”.
His previous discography, not only as performer, but also as producer and technician, ranges from musique-concrete and progressive rock in the late 1970’s early 1980’s, through R&B and Hip Hop in the late 1980’s early 1990’s, to Funk and Breakbeats in the present.
