A year passes and endevour close off 2005 by releasing their first single "Light's Down" on Chromium Records and as 2006 sets upon us, endevour look forward to another hardworking 12 months ahead of them.

An album to be released in the first half of the year the band are writing, gigging, and recording consistently playing songs old and new, loved and unloved, finished and unfinished. Progressing each song 'til it don't want to go no further and perfecting each song til they don't want it to be any more "perfect"!

Each song for endevour is a piece of a jigsaw, they jigsaw set by the difference of every band member, in attitude, personality and musical taste. Influences range from bands you might be able to hear in the music including Biffy Clyro, Radiohead, Muse, Incubus and Foo Fighters, to bands that each member loves and may only personally show through, which literally ranges from Sigur Ros to Marvin Gaye. But it only makes things positive and sets together the pieces for endevour. From Catchy pop vocal hooks, gang backing vocals, funky breaks and last but not least maiden-but-a-little-bit-more-out-of-tune harmonies; it all ties together to create a sound they call their own. A sound which sounds so different with every song but each member recognises as their sound.

And 2006 is the time for endevour to get their sound out. With plans to get around the country and to get a full length album pressed later this year which will sure to feature live favourites "ballet of daniel morris" "tin foil" and "this is our time" (possibly a little more seriously and non-demo titled by then" and released even if it means by self-release. Endevour could be a name you come across a couple more times than just seeing this article this year.
Why this name?
It's changing soon hopefully.
Do you play live?
We play around Wrexham mainly, and occasionaly out into chester etc. But we are aiming further afield in the near future. We've played many a place around Wrexham now including Central Station and the Talbot.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it's obviously effects it, it sucks for the indie labels, but at the end of the day its decent promotion for bands, feel free to download, copy and send our music to all our friends, it's cool with us.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as we weren't getting ripped off, and as long as we had some pretty decent control over our music, they dont tell us what to and what not to write because "it's big this week".
Band History:
Our Biggest key date is probably the 5th of december when we released our debut single on chromium records. Any stepping stones after this are to achieve!
Your influences?
Our musical influences are spread out a little. We got some funky elements, some indie elements and some hard rocking elements, and we merge them to have a little bit of all 3. Think along the lines of, the funky end of Incubus, mixed with the heavey parts of Biffy Clyro, then the Indie bits of Bends era Radiohead. And you'll be touching where we stand.
Favorite spot?
Wrexham.
