We were a Seventeen member collective, scouring the earth for New sounds, Slightly used sounds, Factory Seconds, retreads, previously owned sounds, and sometimes, the sweet sweet relief of silence. Now, after a string of bizarrely violent yet surprisingly coincidental beheadings, there is only can be only one.
Why this name?
Crispus Andronicus Dadboney (????-1753) invented the Barracudaphone, a fish-shaped instrument which greatly amplified the shrieks of the musically elite when the extremely lifelike barracuda fangs sank into their lips as they vainly attempted to prove that they could play any instrument. "Any Instrument, my good man?" Dadboney would snark, brandishing his piscatorial piece.

Crispus Andronicus Dadboney was fatally trampled by a riotous crowd in 1753. They were apparently driven to bewilderment by the debut of his final masterpiece, Sonata III: The Forge of my Loins
Do you play live?
What is live? as opposed to dead? Then yes
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes the music industry more internetty, and a little mp3ish. Or the music industry is just a bunch of obtuse, reactionary money grubbing luddites. Depends on how we got ourselves up this morning, don't it?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the record label is sexy and flirtatious, then, well, sure, I guess she really likes me...oh, hells yeah, she's definitely the one...her love is pure and honest and she only wants what's best for me and...hey!!! you stole my money!!!
Band History:
1973 - Everybody in the band is born.
Your influences?
Cure, Depeche Mode, Juno Reactor, Nitzer Ebb, Orb, Aphex Twin, Air, Black Uhuru, Nine Inch Nails, Turtlehead, and the Solid Motion Dancers. An affinity for bad movies, obscure cultural references, and Becherovka.
Favorite spot?
Kampa Island, Prague. Also, the Porch of the Cabin.
Equipment used:
Mostly, Acid. A bunch of free plug-ins. Crappy Microphones. An old decrepid computer. Have a few songs done with Rubberduck, Drumstation, and Goldwave, but those are sadly lost.
Anything else...?
I want a shiny new Selmer Tenor Saxophone for Christmas. Or a grungy old one in great shape.
