Dan Garcia was born in 1983 in Boston, Mass.,but he has lived all his life in Quito,Ecuador. His interest for dance music comes from early age, so his dream of becoming a producer. In 1996 he was introduced into trance music, and started making software based music since 1999. Some of his tracks have been supported by local DJ's with some success. Dan Garcia explores soundscpaes ranging from proggressive house to tech-trance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
People can listen from music from around the globe. It has both worke for the expansion of the dance music scene, but also has affected negatively. Nothing is perfect.
Your influences?
Music and noise you listen all the time, the sound of nature and the noise of the city. Influenced by artists like F. Corsten, Above and Beyond, Markus Schulz, and many others. Loves classical music, and some movie soundtracks.
