The Official Website of Al Ravage can be found at http://www.geocities.com/alravage
Al Ravage is the singer of the traditional heavy metal band called Ravage, from Boston MA USA (www.665.org/ravage)
However, the Al Ravage solo band is a cyber punk metal band with experimental elements. You'll never know what you are going to get from song to song...and album to album it may be metalish, punk-like, industral, goofy, dramatic, or all of the above. Al Ravage is inspured by the theatrics, melodies, and general craziness of bands such as Alice Cooper, Lizzy Borden, Zoogz Rift, and The McVeighs.
Hopefully there will be a full-length Al Ravage album coming early in 2005.
A full-length Ravage album, "Spectral Rider" has already been recorded and will be released early in 2005 as well.

Why this name?
It is the name given to me by the people... because the mob rules.
Do you play live?
Haven't played live with this band yet... it really isn't a full band yet...right now it is one of those silly projects like Hear N' Aid or that one with Michael Jackson that produced "We are the world"... almost everyone and anyone will be invited to play a part in the band's first album... it will be an all star cast of local nobodies... including former Ravage members, and members of other metal and punk bands from the area... it will be great.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows little kids to think that they can make it big on music... just like records did in the good ole days...the truth of the matter is that we are all just worthless slaves to an all-powerful omniscient and semi-delicious machine. Have some apple pie.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe... if it involved them sending me a cart full of chilled monkey brains and bottles of cat milk in exchange for my prized 'first appearance of Puma' Spiderman comic. That is a deal I would consider. If it was about music, probably not.
Band History:
I am who am am. In the begining... there was the Al Ravage band and revue. "Good ole boys?!? WE'RE the GOOD OLE BOYS!!!" "I'd really like a cup of Coffee!"
The Al Ravage band was born from the murky ooze of a brain, encrusted in the film wrought by watching Gary Busey's movie "The Hider In The House" and Christopher Walken's movie "McBain" too many times... along with the cartoon versions of the Lord of The Rings films...they kick the live action film's ass!

Your influences?
It will be "over the top" metal (in the Sylvester Stallone movie sense)...and rock and rolls (Shake Rattle Roll and Shah Rattle Bread)...classical (with no technical ability)...keyboards (with one hand or no fingers)...comedy (without being humorous)...stupid (while making grandiose social and political statements that willl stir the embers of our time)....cheesey (like a nice pice of apple with a slice of cheddar)...and completely random and unpredictable(while being entirely contrived and scripted)....also there will be as many puppets and costumes featured as is humanly possible (without being art rock in any way - because I friggin hate that crap)
Favorite spot?
Malden...what other city is there? Malden Apocalypse !
Equipment used:
Whatever I can hold in there hands...including a number of precious stones... but I'd trade them all for a phaser!
Anything else...?
Anything. (original eh?)
