The band were formed in 1996 when keyboardist Marco Bensi joined singer / songwriters Richard Kent and Ben Hampshire, guitarist Jon Lord and drummer Matt Hayday. They all met at Durham University and started as a band by playing covers at colleges in the Durham area.
They originally played pubs in Kent, England and then moved onto the London venue scene. They continued playing covers while Ben and Rich wrote original material together. With a passion for similar music they found it easy to agree on their sound and direction.
They are now gigging more than ever before and showcasing their melodic indie/pop orginal material at respected venues in London such as the Garage, Islington, 12 bar club, The Bull & Gate and the Half Moon in Putney.
