I've always enjoyed making and writing my own music. The music is about personal experiences that everyone can relate to. The songs are catchy rock tunes with warm melodies.
Why this name?
The name is my last name since I did all the arrangements, writing and recording.
Do you play live?
I have had the opportunity to play live throughout Asia. All awesome experiences. Bribing the customs officer in Cambodia to let me through since I was on my way to play a gig was an interesting moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows home artists a way to be heard and gives everyone access to music, artists and bands. As well people in the record business now have access to bands with just a few clicks.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely! I look forward to the opportunity.
Band History:
Vocals are by Dominic Thompson and da bass lines are by Mike Worrow. A very special thanks to both.
Your influences?
My musical influences are wide...basically if its good and catchy then I want to listen and learn. Major influences include Slash, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Robben Ford and Freddie King.
Favorite spot?
Maui. Love it!
Equipment used:
I use a vintage Marshall 4140 amp with a Fender strat to get the warm guitar tones. All recordings are done on Cubase and Wavelab in a humble home set up.
Anything else...?
My dream is to be signed. I've always enjoyed making music and playing live...I just can't get enough. To do this full time would be perfect.
