Music
This song went to # 3 on the Acoustic Rock charts and I didn't even know it. This song is meant to illustrate that chivalry is NOT dead.
'Just in case you're wondering...' this song is like John Mayer meets The Roots. A favorite in my live shows.
Browsing the homepage of Facebook, I came apon an interesting status update from a friend of mine.
I thought Staceys' status re: 'The Speed of Dark' was interesting and would make a good song title so i put my thought into action...
This is a 'new conscious' rock song I wrote & produced for Dirty Messenger.
This MAY be the best thing I have ever done.
This song went to # 1 on the Adult Comtemporary Pop charts and I DID know about it. It is also the first song of mine that Kate Bush ever heard and the song that got me featured in Bassplayer magazine with Prince on the cover.
A # 1 Latin Pop/Balada song on SoundClick, it broke my heart to write this. Originally written for her ears only, I decided to share it with any die-hard romantics out there.
This song has an 'Island' feel. What Island ?...
I'm not sure. You tell ME.
' Your mind is a wasteland, but your body is a miracle...'
One listener said, 'This line speaks volumes. Its complimentary, concerned, appreciative, motivational and condescending all at one time.'
* I wasn't trying to be condescending *
This piece was #2 on the Spoken Word charts. Bringing the term 'eclectic' to a new level in a story about an angel named Claire...
For some reason, this song evokes an emotional reaction when people really listen. Apparently, this particular song really touches people as I have witness many a listener moved to tears.
This is a song about lucid dreaming, creative visualization, astral projection, all that cool stuff...
All I can say is that you MUST LISTEN to this song from beginning to end.
This is the true story of my close encounter with my 'guardian alien'. This is NOT science fiction OR 'New Age'. There is no category for this.

A #3 song on the Adult Comtemporary charts, it is musically influenced by Joni Mitchell & Peter Gabriel and was written for Carrie Hamilton, my former musical partner, close friend and late daughter of Carol Burnett.
This song went to # 2 on the Acoustic Vocal charts. A beautiful 12 string acoustic guitar was delivered to the studio and I wrote this song right outta the box. Cocteau Twins meets The Dream Academy.
Very lush & metaphysical.
This is probably my best known song. With lyrics in English & Spanish, this is the acoustic version. Thanks to Nancy Wilson (Heart)for the intro.

' Maybe once in a lifetime...or perhaps in another life. ' Sonically... 'acoustic bliss'.
This is one of those songs where the title is never mentioned in the song. This is also the opening track on my new CD, 'MUSE'.
This is what it is and it works.

Instrumental version of Dreamland featuring 'LJ Horn' on trumpet.
This was the # 1 song on the World Fusion charts.
By design, I wrote music in a variety of genres to have the trumpet be the common thread. This piece combines Funk with a Middle Eastern vibe.
With Miles being my biggest influence on the trumpet and Jaco being my biggest influence on the bass, this is a bass & trumpet duet based on a descending four chord sequence. It's basically about the realization of a dream.
A # 2 song on the Instrumental Rock charts, if Miles Davis had jammed w/ The Pretenders in 1981, it would have sounded like this. Listen for the
'Honeyman' tone, specifically.
This song is for someone special...whoever she turns out to be. Musically speaking, if Jaco & Miles ever did a duet, it might sound a lot like this.
