Why this name?
I think that is explained below
Do you play live?
We're yet to prepare any live shows, just finshed work on our second EP. Were now taking a break for a bit.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
By giving up and coming bands and projects the opurtunity to show people their music without having to be signed up by an independent record label, or by distributing demos when playing live gigs.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That would be fantastic.
Band History:
Around the beginning of 2003 in Nottingham Neil Ward and Alex Moran began work on a new project totally disregarding any form of past or present music they had performed in and taken influence from. Pushing aside other projects they began writing free form experimental music in a way they only knew as theyre own. A 7 track E.P (self-titled) was completed in Autumn 2004, bringing together a fusion of progressive rock/electronica and ambience. Currently in the process of writing new material, Scott-Free's purpose (soley writing and playing music for thier own pleasure) means thier destiny is in thier own hands. -May 2005-
