Konstriktion is what I call my "solo" music. I am a founding member of the West Virgina based progressive rock band, Acrylic Prism. My latest project is called, "Kontradiktion". The first five tracks are posted. A complete selection of my solo material as well as collaborations are available as streaming audio. Enjoy!

Why this name?

It just looked and sounded cool.

Do you play live?

I record out of my home studio, Konstriktion Sound, but if the situation would arise, I would'nt be opposed to doing it.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet makes it easy to get your music and ideas out there for the regular folks to listen to. That is who I try to reach.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, if the situation were right.

Band History:

I am a founding member of West Virginia's progressive rock band, Acrylic Prism. Konstriktion is my solo music. The first CD was 2000's "Nothing Important Here" followed by "Having Fun At The Neighbors" and "The Rest Of Konstriktion" in 2004. In 2006 "The Konstriktion Kronikles" was released. I am currently working on my new recording, "Kontradiktion".

Your influences?

These days it tends to follow the new age type of things, (from Steven Halpern to Tangerine Dream).It is music to travel the universe and beyond.

Favorite spot?

Right where I'm at, at the moment.

Equipment used:

I record using ACID Music software, an old KORG Poly - 800 analog synth for a controller and a Shure SM-57 for vocals.
