I've always had a great passion for music. However for a long time it has been a passive passion. In 1993 I bought a Roland JV-80 and simply started. There was not any theoretical knowledge of music that stood in the way, and I just made music in an intuitive way. After some time the first tracks were finished. At that time an own style hasn't come up yet.

Later I've developed a more own style. Very important, to me, is that the music must be very direct and intuitive. Until this present day I still miss any kind of theoretical knowledge. Everything I make and do is with the heart and intuition. And that is how I want it to be.
Why this name?
That's original the name a gave the motorbike i owned. Since then it just kept with me.
Do you play live?
The songs are being made and mixed live, in one time. I prefer this technique, because the music develops more intuitively. The music on the cd'r Mindcapes is compiled from 3 older songs of the debut cd'r Images and 5 new songs. All songs are digitally remixed
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet, not necessarily MP3, give's the people a medium to find new intresting music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, do think so.

Equipment used:
The music on the CD has been manufactured under my own control. The instruments used are: Roland JV-80, Roland D-50, Korg TR-Rack and Alesis Quadrasynth. As a recording console I used the Alesis Studio 32 with the monitor loudspeakers Alesis monitor two. The software which is being used is Cubase VS 3.5, CooleditPro 1.1 and Gear 4.0 to write the CD. All items are working on a PC with Win98 and the Isis maxi studio from Guillemot.

The music eventually is written directly to harddisk of the PC.

The compositions are being made with two different techniques which I use simultaneously.

1) With the help of Cubase VS 3.5 I make a midi-file which eventually lead up to several Synth's. This midi-file contains all the information to replay the song directly in one time. All effects and other settings are sent to the Synth's through this midi-file. Then the song is recorded on the harddisk entirely. CooleditPro is used to clean the soundfile from possible noisy side effects. So afterwards no effects will be added. At this way the following songs are made:

Beyond
FarHag
SphereII

2) The song is being made and mixed live, in one time. Also in this way CooleditPro is used to clean the soundfiles afterwards. I prefere this technique, because the music develops more intuitively. The only problem is now and then, that you have a shortage of about three hands.
At this way the following songs are made:

MindSong
SeaBurst
Clouds
Nucleus
Aurealis

For the new project i changed for recording to the Roland VS-2400 CD. The instruments are Roland XV-88, Roland d-50, Korg TR-RACK
