Why this name?
"Evil Gal Blues" is the name of a tune written by the great Leonard Feather. Dinah Washington sang it, Ruth Brown sang it;that's good enough for me!
As far as the Festival Orchestra part, it sounds goofy and silly and self-important; so we fit right in w/ everyone else in the music bizzzzz.

yes, we play live. we would play dead, but the pay is not as good.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
instant access worldwide and the eventual decline and demise of the record industry - bwah-ha-ha!

absolutely not.
