A one man, all instrumental effort focusing on the use of ambience, soundscapes, and dream-like interlude in rock, fusion, electronic, dance, and progressive rock structures. Taking the lessons learned in the instrumental complexity of progressive jazz-rock fusion, welding it to the production sophistication of techno/trance and ambient music and adding just the right ingredients of guitars, synthesizers and drums to make it interesting to fans of all of the above. Not being afraid of being sophisticated or hypnotic for its own sake.
Why this name?
It most closely resembles the sound of the music.
Do you play live?
There has been two gigs thus far, one in 2006 in the summer and one in
2008 on July 4th. I'm hoping to do more gigs, perhaps one in the fall of
2008 - stay tuned.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Easily distribute music over vast continental areas.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it made sense to do so and it was obvious it was for the right reasons.
