What's It Gonna Be
Six members, one mission. TO make the world feel the force of Borialis and our brand of White Trash Hip-Rock. The Band consists of Chi-Flow(Singer, Guitars,Keys), Crow(Guitar,Keys,Vox), E-Bass(Bass, Vox), J-Rock(Drums,Vox), Justice(Guitar,vox), and DOC NU(Turntables,Vox).
Why this name?
We kicked the name around for a while. It essentially means "The North", but we took a little liberty and took it to mean spiritually "north". To look up, to be postive.
Do you play live?
We 're out and about all the time. Too many great moments to try to make a concise paragraph out of it.
If you make it big..?
We're on our way. And when we do get there, we'll be taking care of our friends and family. Never forget your roots.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives smaller artists the chance to be seen and heard, and it gives big artists a new medium to bring their careers to new heights (even though those heights scare the RIAA, who can't control the internet. THat's why they're pissed off and suing everything right now.)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if given some freedom to produce a product worthwhile to call ours. And if they make sure that newly passed "Work for Hire" clause is Nowhere to be found on the contract.
Your influences?
We love a bit of everything and mix it together.
Pink Floyd, PRT, GrandMaster Flash,Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Old R&B, Jodeci, Run-DMC, Ennico Morricone, Old Surf guitar stuff.
