I've been rapping since I was fifteen. I've been battling around the Washington D.C. area getting my rep up. I ya'll hear the music, and you feelin' it, go ahead and ADD IT TO YOUR STATION and hit my message board for feedback. I even welcome the hate. Fuel the fire baby.

Why this name?

Everyone is 'Miss' this and 'Lady' that, so I needed to separate myself from that. That's the short answer.

Do you play live?

I perform all of the time. You can check me out at the Cada Vez performing with other Musician Minds magazine artists, or on Love t.v. which broadcasts shows from the Love TV Event Hall on Georgia Ave. I'm also part of an org called the FMC or Female MC Club, and I perform with them in NY.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I definately have a chance that a lot of my predecessors didn't, because I can take advantage of free/next to free promotion and worldwide exposure. The internet is making the music world smaller.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I got my own shit. Black Opx in this bi***!

I'm my own band. The rest is history.

Your influences?

My father is in a Jazz band called Sunrah's Arkestrah, and my mom is a bassist. I grew up in a house full of music. I grew up listening to everything from Duke Ellington to Green Day. Even now, I think my lyrical prowess comes from the fact that I respect and listen to good lyrics in any genre.

Favorite spot?

I like Miami, NY, and of course I love my home, N.E. D.C.
