AniG - A Source Of Trance
NEWS   The site is currently going under mandatory updates. It will be updated as new songs arrive.

The dofcom site has changed to www.dofcom.co.uk/anig.html as d'sential has allowed me to have space for song storage there. Also pulserated.co.uk have requested I send my work to them for the chance to be signed and played on their radio station. Since I am busy at the moment, I'm post poning the sending of my music until after university exams. 23rd of June.
Thanks for visiting

Welcome to the home of AniG, Australia's very own Progressive and Hard Trance style producer. All the way from Western Australia.
Why this name?
The name AniG came about in the year 2000 - 2001, where I was much into drawing and publishing Anime/Manga. Hence the name AniG arouse, which stands for the collaboration of the words Animation and my first name Gilbert. Creating: Ani(mation)-G(ilbert) or AniG, pronounced Anny Gee
Do you play live?
Once I finally learn how to DJ and get really serious about my music we'll see what happen with this section. Maybe there will be some live performances, but for the moment, this is more a dream than anything else.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps for open distribution, however it leaves for piracy and discrimination. Loss of funds etc.
Maybe I'll complain more when I get signed :P
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes definately, getting signed is one of my aims.
Band History:
Producing seriously since 2004.
It's been an on and off thing, since I'm always learning to do multiple things at a time.
I got a hold of Fruity Loops back in 2002, but never really used it till 2003, and didn't use it properly till late 2004.
2005 and 2006 have been mostly my premier years of where I'm confident in my ability to finally produce quality tracks.
Your influences?
FL STUDIO (Great Program For Music Composition), Dj Deft (talented user of the program and producer, inspired me to get producing), A LOT OF Progressive TRANCE/HARD TRANCE artists...
Favorite spot?
My Home City Perth, I haven't been anywhere else yet.
Equipment used:
Computers and Software synths. No hardware... yet...
Anything else...?
I hope to become better at making songs, anthems, remixes, re-takes, re-edits and covers. A long with getting professional equipment, and getting signed (eventually).
I hope that it all comes true, again eventually :P
