Wat up world!!! This mTribs formerly known as D.E.M.U.R. aka Dart. mTribs standing for "My Trust Rest In da Blood." Its spelles mTribs but you pronunce it as "Tribs."
Why this name?
Came up with it jus chillin one day. Realizing that I go threw a lot of "tribulations," but despite of those "tribs" my trust rest in da blood of Christ.
Do you play live?
Of Course I play live. In Cincinnati. Usually about 3-7 a month. I like or I wouldnt do it. Nothing is particularly special, every time has its different meaning and purpose.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It does b/c it enables people all over the world to listen to music from another part in the world they wouldn't be able to make it to.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's not up ta me buddy!!! Ha!!! You'll get it one day.
Band History:
Dartanion Alexander Thomas formerly known as Dart, D.E.M.U.R., or Tribs is the former newest member of T.H.I.S. Click Records.

How Dart got saved? Well I got saved in 1997 after going on a 500 mile bike trip from Cincinnati to Niagara Falls. When I became saved I really wasn’t living the life. I thought that was all he had to do, say I was a sinner then go back to being a sinner, pray once in a while, than go to church and I would go to heaven. WRONG!!! I went through all types of things that could have easily killed me. I went from police pulling guns on me in dark alleys before the shooting of Timothy Thomas, to being around gunshots fired on the 4th of July. To think that I was lucky to be alive would be foolish. GOD’S grace and mercy is the reason I am still alive to this day, because at anytime I could/can cut me off. I could have easily been one of those African Americans males shot and killed by Cincinnati Police, but GOD had another plan for me.

It took me 6 years to figure out what GOD wanted me to do. The good thing is that despite how long it took me to figured it out, I did figure out my calling before it was too late. In August of 2003 one of my counselors at camp told me that I was a strong leader but I was leading my followers in the wrong direction. Those words stuck with me to this day. Every since then it’s been all about the LORD’S WILL. I always knew I was a great leader but I never thought about how I was leading people. Now what ever type of people GOD needs me to lead I will lead and at the same time I will follow, because I know I am not the most intelligent man or the most gifted person on earth. There is always room to learn more.

When I was in the world rapping wasn’t something I was really striving to do. I thought I was hard but the people of the world would tell me I was garbage. I won a couple battles here and there but they didn’t amount to anything. As soon as I started doing gospel rap I received recognition immediately. Now I’m not saying that’s the reason I am doing gospel rap because it isn’t. I do this ministry in hopes of spreading the Good News as far as I can in order to save some souls including my own.

GOD has blessed me with a click to join and that support each other. We may go through our ups and downs but that only makes us stronger. He has but a wonderful leader in front to me in Regis Jones and I thank him for that. Also he has surrounded me with endless talent. A group of guys who are all in their own little way different but are also in similarity because of their salvation and our mission statement.( Salvation to the unsaved, Encouragement to the saved, and Glory to GOD).

GOD BLESS ALL

Your influences?
The number one person who influences me in music is God, But, after him has to be K Drama. People I like the most is Japhia Life, and Da T.R.U.T.H.. Other Gospel rappers I like are local and you prolly wouldnt know them besides FIC.
