The REAL Shut Down Productions is one of the hottest Northern California vocal recording studios that produces beats and masters audio. SDP produces everything from R&B to club anthems to westcoast gangsta shit. Producer/Rapper Mistah TK founded SDP with a computer mic and a tape player, it has now grown into a professional recording booth and Class A equipment.
Why this name?
Cuz we shutting down all the competition with our knowledge for audio production.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 is here to stay, doesn't matter what anybody thinks.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, but Industry is Punks
Band History:
Started out on a tape player and computer mic back in 1996-97. Now we have grown to this, peep it out.
Your influences?
Tech N9ne, Bone Thugs, Brotha Lynch, Mr. Doctor, Celly Cell, C-bo, Yukmouth, 2pac, Dre & Snoop (back in the days, in their prime)

Korg D16XD, Focusrite pre amp, blue baby bottle, yamaha motif 7, every computer software known to man.

Yo this be TK, just wanna say that this SDP sh*** is on the come up. Me and C Dog have been doin this sh*** for years, we got experience in this. Rego and Nooch (the two cats on the untouchable song) are on Most High Records, and soon SDP and Most High will form together. gotta say whats crackin to my co-partner lunitic aka YGB, he will be on some sh*** real soon, keep check back every so often for new track.
