Yo! This is Barock HipHop beatmaker and dj form Heidelberg/Germany...
Why this name?
Well, that's a long, long story...
Do you play live?
I do shows in my hometown (Heidelberg). Mostly with my crew [Mosaik-Kollektiv] or as a dj at HipHop events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Maybe sometimes in the future there'll be mp3's and stuff on the moon!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
C.R.E.A.M.
Band History:
I started djng, then moved on to beats... first with software, now soft- and hardware combined. Rigth now I'm recording tracks with my crew for our debut.
Your influences?
I like Gang Starr, NAS, Wu-Tang Clan, 50 Cent, Mobb Deep... Producers like Alchemist, Primo or Hi-Tek are allways a great inspiration and by listening to their beats I realize there's a lot more for me to learn.
Favorite spot?
Bay Area USA!
