Pagan Reign is a Russian Metal Band of incredible talent, and music diversity. Following in the steps of such Russian bands as Forest Stream, and Satarial. This band has entered the world music scene only in the last year. The band is about to embark on the first all English CD, beginning with a 4 song demo.

Why this name?

Pagan Reign was chosen for the life style of people who lived in past history of the Russian north lands, more than 1000 years ago.

Do you play live?

Yes. We like medium venues to have some closeness with our fans.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think it has given a venue for bands from Europe that listeners of music the world over would never know about...

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes of course we would consider it.

Band History:

Pagan Reign was formed 6 years ago.
Since then we have made 3 CDs but only for release in Russia.

Your influences?

We feel our music is our own as for influences, that is difficult to say. We do think of our music has slavic, viking, and pagan metal influences. This is due to the time frame in History we write our songs about.
