Singer/Song writer, Jay Rosenberg, also known to many as JayR. or JayRo grew up performing in the Miami, Tampa Bay area. Coming from a musical family he sang in the sunday school choir, he sang in school, he even sang in the corner when his mother put him there for a ‘time out’. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he ended up a TOP FINALIST on American Idol or that at age nineteen, he won the competition for the Tampa Bay Idol, and came in the top 25 in the nation for the City Jam Vocal Competition. He received a great deal of local media attention in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, and was asked to perform the national anthem at a Tampa Bay Bucs football game, a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game, as well as a Tampa Bay Devil Rays game, a great honor for a local artist. Jay's songs have been heard on radio stations Nation wide (some songs even topping local charts). Jay has toured/opened for such multi-platinum selling artists as; Bone Thugs N Harmony, Naughty By Nature and Trina to name a few. Jay still volunteers at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fl. and other local venues where he sings whenever he can. He believes that his gift is his voice, a gift that he cannot ignore and a gift he wants to share with as many people as possible. He hopes to turn this early success into gold, and maybe even into platinum.

In my oppinion internet is a gateway for listeners, fans, etc... to aquire information, view pictures, watch videos, and get up-to-date on all the latest info, everything is at their finger tips, it's quick, and easy...

Favorite spot?

Oh Man.. I have so much love for Tampa, Orlando, Miami... Florida is my home, and I that's where my heart is. However, I love traveling, especially to places I've never been, or performed....
