Trash rock at its finest as we defy description and leave a pint of blood and sweat on stage. It's completely electric and grows more every time we play live.
Why this name?
Scott was in the back of a hippie's Forrester when the guy started talking about this girl all strung out on heroin but she was living like a princess. "I just got this image in my head of this gril being all strung out with a tiara and a boa, I just thought it was this great image." The name is meant to denote trash rock as the Sex Pistols were to denote punk rock and Jefferson Airplane was meant to denote psychedelia.
Do you play live?
Gotta play live, if you don't you die. Our bread and butter is our live shows typically at a party or a bar. We love playing live, it's the greatest high ever. All our problems melt away with the electricity of the evening.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's easier to get people to listen to your music, but it can also be used to exploit artists. We love our webpage because it's a stellar medium to get whatever is going on in the band out to our fans or just rant about things for no real reason.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YES! Most definitely. Anything that would allow us to make music for a living and get our music out to the greatest amount of people possible is all right with us. Even if they do tend to be evil.
Band History:
What originally started out as a three-piece has added a fourth this year with Tim now handling vocals and with the recent addition of Mike adding some added depth to the bass.
Your influences?
We're an eclectic bunch. Tim is into Zeppelin and the Black Crowes, Mike digs ska, punk, jazz, funk and all sorts of weird stuff, Kevin likes new-metal like Staind and Sevendust and Scott is a clusterf*** hybrid of classic rock and punk rock spanning from Ten Years After to that dog. to Operation Ivy to Aerosmith to Buckcherry and everything else rock.
Favorite spot?
Fireside Bowl in Chicago, no place has as much moxie or has a better atmosphere.
Anything else...?
Corporate America tried to kill rock with this processed pop horseshit, but there's emerging a movement from the bottom up. Rock lives with Junkie Princess.
