Owl Enchilada was formed to fight truth, justice, and the American Way. We also want to destroy Kansas. We feel it would be a fertile proving ground for the MX missle system.
Why this name?
I hit an owl with my car. Being poor, I decided it was time for a Mexican fiesta. of owlmeat. and cheese. and eggs. lots of eggs.
Do you play live?
We've played a few shows at the Paraground. Apparently, we offend people. Rock n roll is about hugs, kids!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows smaller bands to get heard by more people, quicker.. which I think certainly leads to more people at shows and more merch sales, which, from what im told, are what actually pull in $. Not that Im concerned with making any money, aside from raising money to tour on.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At this stage in the game, I think thats a moot question.
Band History:
Owl Enchilada was started when graham rottingjesuscorpse approached Billionaire about the idea of forming a death metal band. DEATH METAL POLKA MOTHERf***ERS.

30 years passed. Billionaire moved from lead guitar to drums. Markiss came back from the gulags of Poland and now ably mans the master of shred position.

Danny materializes to play bass whenever he damn well pleases.
Your influences?
journey, iron cross, the masterful phil collins,
rich kids on lsd, owls, enchiladas, crapcore, carport rock, egghunt, dead milkmen, charles bronson

Favorite spot?
the men's toilets in shreveport. they are good places to meet & greet with political figures.
Equipment used:
Mr. rottingjesuscorpse prefers tiny microphones. Markiss uses a stolen Telecaster. Billionaire thuds away on a Dumpster brand kit. Danny's choice is uncertain at the moment, but we know that shit's maroon.
Anything else...?
