Dead Planet has built a foundation of Metal from many diverse ingredients. Each member of this band brings to the table years of experience, tons of creativity and loads of driving, in-your-face rock and roll, baby!
Sure, there are some more melodic-friendly songs thrown in for texture, but make no mistake: we came to rock, and rock we will!
We have just begun creating some new tunes with our newest members, bassist Scott Walters and new guitarist Dave Gomez. We hope to have some new tunes posted hear real soon...

Do you play live?
We are open to play wherever people are looking to get back to the true sense of rock music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Would a major label still consider signing us to a major deal? Hmm...
Band History:
We were basically formed by early 2003, but could never find a solid double-bass drummer capable of actually playing chops, much keeping the beat. That is, until we found Steven Peer to work his magic behind the kit. In February 2005, we "mourned" the loss of original bassist, Renee Green, who decided to part ways for personal reasons. She will forever live in our hearts, collectively and respectively. To further add to our potential setbacks, original guitarist/founding member Shon Georgie started experiencing tremendous pain in his left arm, from the tips of his fingers to the base of his neck, which eventually led to Shon's departure from the Planet.
One phone call to an old friend, and Dave Gomez stepped in on guitar, bringing his friend Scott Walters in on bass to complete the lineup...once again. This metal began to instantly take its own shape when these two walked into the room. Get ready, people. You ain't seen NOTHIN' yet..

Your influences?
Everything that has clean hooks and tasty chops. Song-oriented, but with musical finesse.
Think: Dream Theater meets Van Halen; Megadeth meets Tesla; Iron Maiden beats--uh, I mean meets--old Queensryche...

Anything else...?
We realize some people think our current "sound" has that 80's vibe, but we're leaning more into the heavier, darker side of the Force! Already, we're starting to redefine our sound. We hope you'll all enjoy the ride...
