Why this name?
The name Gypsy Davy was taken from the Bob Dylan song, "Tombstone Blues." We later found out that Dylan borrowed the character from Woody Guthrie who borrowed it from a folk traditional. We've been using this name on all our projects together since 1989.
Do you play live?
Not anymore. Gypsy Davy is now a hobby for us old guys with day jobs.
