Backwards Alphabet is a young band with talented musicians. We're based around the area of Flourtown: a suburb of Philadelphia.

Why this name?
There was a discussion among friends about how saying the alphabet backwards to test for drunk drivers would be easier if you actually were drunk. Realizing Backwards Alphabet would be a great name for a band they adopted it. However, it wasn't for about a year till the band formed.
Do you play live?
Live shows are the best! We play mostly in the Philadelphia area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has done wonderful things for music itself, which, through the fact that parts of the music industry are against music, has brought down the industry a bit. The internet has opened the world up to an entirely new way of getting music heard. It's become more about how you sound and how well you promote than who you know and how much money you have, which is good.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the contract, but sure, "to try to change it/ from the inside" ~"Mind Control Song"
Band History:
We came, we played, we loved it!
Your influences?
Blink 182 meets Violent Femmes, with some Nerf Herder and Offspring, sprinkled with Catch 22 and Green Day on a solid foundation of 80s pop and rolling stones.
Equipment used:
drums, bass, guitar, some amps and microphones. Oh! and cables... we use them, too. mic AND instrument cables.
Anything else...?
