Walt Sapsai, Jr.

His music career started back in 1985 when he bought his first drum set. Eventually he got fed up and sold it for a cheesy, wood chopping bass that didn't sound that good.
His love for the bass grew over time and has taken his knowledge of the drums and guitar and combined them into the bass guitar. Walt has opened up for the rock group "LIVE" back in 1997 at the Camden E-Center which is now the Tweeter center. In 1999 he opened for the The Reggae Group" THE WAILERS" at Rick's American Cafe on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. He has recorded Music with at least 20 bands at 20 different studios, over the last 15 years and thrives on meeting new talent! Do you play live?

I have my band Ravioli Shanker We have done gigs at Bojo's, Oar House Brewery, in Millville, N.J. .toadfish,bridgewater puc,town tavern in bridgeton,NJ. We are pretty much a Party type band playing all kinds of music from funk,soul,motown,classic rock,country...you name it....we play it!!
great guys,great music...lots of fun!! I have finished my recording and I am very happy with it. I hope you enjoy it also.
I recently played with a 3rd project of mine Taliesin Moonwolf in Nashville, Tn. at the Stardust Theatre. We played a song a co-wrote with Jackie and Joe Melini "Southern Rock Angel".

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

With the help of the internet,music is more readily available to more musicians around the world and can be done in "Real Time" it's a great thing.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

My first answer to this question was "no" but after a long look at my music career at this point..."Yes" is now my answer....what is there to loose...nothing if you don't give it a try...always stay true to your dreams!!
