I've been playing guitar for 6 years and am really hoping to get in a band really soon.
Why this name?
My nickname is Erock but it was taken. It was pretty much given to me, I did not choose it.
Do you play live?
I won the talent show at my school last year when me and my buddies played "I Believe in a Thing Called Love". That was really fun. i love playing live. I play alot of live shows with my schools guitar ensemble but it doesnt compare to a rock show.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it really screws it up but I cannot wait to see some really awesome technology that will come out of the crisis.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah of course. As long as I don't have to be told what kind of music I'm going to play or anything like that.
Your influences?
I love Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Judas Priest, Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Manowar, Yngwie Malmsteen and a bunch of others. I have an open mind to lots of different genres of music thanks to my guitar teacher 2 high school.
Favorite spot?
Mississauga, Ontario.
Equipment used:
Peavey Bandit 2 Amp, Ibanez RG 320FM w/ Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Pickups and a Digitech RP200 Guitar Effects Proccessor(thats a mouthful eh?).
