NEWS
I am currently in the process of re-recording some songs that I put out on a CD for some close friends in 2003. This project is about 50% finished and some of the songs are already getting some airplay on a Lake Havasu City, AZ station.

First of all, the word "Band" is a misnomer with regard to me. With the exception of the Lord I am working on this project alone. With, of course, the support of my loving wife and family.
Several of my songs were co-written with my brother in the Lord and dearest friend Keith Gamblin who went home to be with Jesus on April 9, 2004. I thank the Lord that I have these songs to remember him by.
I am currently serving as the Worship Pastor at Kingman First Assembly of God in Kingman, AZ. However, I am looking forward to branching out in the future and doing some traveling ministry by leading worship and teaching seminars in various venues.
I have over 12 years of ministry experience and more than 20 years experience in music.

Why this name?
It's My Name. God gave it to me. I thought I should use it.
Do you play live?
I am currently serving as Worship Pastor at First Assembly of God in Kingman, AZ. There is nothing better for a worship leader than to lead a group of people into the presence of the Almighty God - especially a group of people who truly want to go there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has sure made it much easier for people such as myself to get the music God has given me into other people's hands. Instead of an expesive demo we can make a rough cut and post it on the internet. And with the Lord's help it will accomplish what it was intended to accomplish. Sometimes we may never know for sure how much our music has touched someone's life.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the terms of said contract. I know of too many artists who have made little or no money working for a record company. Not that making money is all there is - but it is helpful.
Band History:
I have been in several different bands. In 1988 I had the privilege of opening for Steve Taylor and WhiteCross in a band called Light Brigade.
Shortly thereafter, I chose to go to Bible College to study for the ministry. I majored in Youth Ministry but I remained active in many things musical including two bands I was in during the first two years.
After graduation I went to work as a youth pastor in Key West, Florida. And over time the Lord led me to a point where music became the main tool for me to use in ministry.
I am looking forward to whatever the Lord has planned for my life and ministry.

Your influences?
My greatest influences were Keith Green when I was younger and in more recent years, Lindell Cooley.
As a songwriter, one of my main influences was Steve Taylor. I love the way he manages to say so much with so few words. I'm sure he learned it from Jesus.

Favorite spot?
My favorite place to live would be south Florida. Yes, even after all of the hurricanes.
My favorite place to be is with the people I love and who love me.
But, ultimately, the best place to be is in the presence of God. So many think they have to die to achieve that. That is only partially true. Your body does not have to die - just your will. When we empty ourselves of our "selves" then He can fill us with His Spirit. Come Lord Jesus!

Anything else...?
A few of the songs on this site are from a CD I produced with the late Keith Gamblin. The group was known as Eternal Purpose and the disc was called Follow You.
I re-recorded "Join With The Angels" so that I could use it on a future project.
If you are interested in a copy of this CD feel free to contact me. The price is $10 including shipping and handling.
