This page is to promote my new CD "Electrocentric Ethnoglide". This will be my 5th self-produced cd with the aid of my trusty Mac G4, this time all guitar tracks were added with the use of a Boss 1180 mixer
Why this name?
Biffo the bear was given to me as a code name as a kid, I added the Rocker part later when I started playing a bit more
Do you play live?
I live in the Republic of East Vancouver, the music scene in Vancouver generally sucks for the most part. The Open Mic scene is where it is at in this city.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it has brought music back to the people to a large degree
Band History:
After 20 years of casual guitar playing I decided to give it a try in front of real people, that was November 2001. Since then I have played lots and improved lots both on stage and in the studio. My musical history includes being a station manage for a student radio station, running a music server via Carracho and being the host of an open mic night at a local pub.
Your influences?
This new CD has a variety of influences from Status Quo, Madonna, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons to Miles Davis
Favorite spot?
the g spot
Equipment used:
Mac G4 using OS X Reason 2.5, Bias Deck and Peak and the Boss 1180 mixer. Guitar is a Hamer telecaster, for live I have a Fender Roc Pro
