Hi, My name is Jon Hooper. I write, compose, record and play instrumental metal. I love the energy that is produced sonicly when listening to it. So I love creating that vibe.
Why this name?
I am the only member so I think it is fitting to use my own name.
Do you play live?
I don't have a band. So it is hard to play live. I have played live in the past. It is a big rush for me. I love it!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier for those bands who are unsigned to be heard by people around the world. The bands don't have to rely so much on record labels to make a comfortable living.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I really don't know. It depends on the deal they offer I guess.
Band History:
I have been playing guitar for 24 years. I have been in a few bands. I have been writing songs for about 10 years. I have recently been recording my first CD solo project to be released fall of 2004. I just love to create.
Your influences?
I am greatly influenced by metal and rock. Guitar influences are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Chris Impellitteri, Paul Gilbert, Rex Carroll and the list goes on.
Favorite spot?
I love being out in the country. I love God's creation!
