Producing intense electronic beats to a backdrop of fluid soundscape and samples resulting in distorted uptempo IDM sounds.
Why this name?
consumeobeybreed was chosen as a statement regarding the current state of decadent capitolism.
Do you play live?
Yes. I play often at Burt's Tiki Lounge, Blue Dragon Coffee House in Albuquerque. In Santa Fe I have played several sets at Rockin Rollers and Warehouse 21.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I can see how the mp3 format has both helped and hurt the music industry(s) regarding file sharing over the internet. Underground artists benefit by being able to promote and release material over an incredibly vast audience, however, because of how vast the internet is, it is easy to be drown out by oversaturation. The "big" music industry gets ripped off, and even though most of the money is going to conglomerate mega bosses, these artists under them still make their living by selling records, even though they only get pennies on any given dollar. It is a very sharp double edged sword no matter who is involved.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That depends on many variables, although I do not exactly write mainstream music.
Your influences?
I am really into Autechre, Somatic Responses, Sonar, Vromb, and others of the like at this point. I listen to alot of Download, Dead Voices on Air, Not Breathing, etc.

My local influences include Alchemical Burn, Efesar, Brian Botkiller, Noir Effect, Raine Vivian, and many others.

I listen to a very broad range of music, from classic rock to Marilyn Manson. Moby to to The Thrill Kill Kult. although my influences shine brightly in my works.
