The name's RG. I'm representing the UK, giving you a more refreshing brand of Hip hop. If you want to hear that repetitive gangsta ish then you're gonna be disappointed. I bring you the realness. I'm true to myself and deliver brain food for our youth.
Why this name?
I'm called RG simply because they are my intials. Couldn't be bothered to think of a cool name.
Do you play live?
I ain't really played live. A few battles at a club, that's all.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its changed it for the good. I ain't paying for some of the garbage I hear and these rappers don't deserve the money they get.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No way. This game is corrupt. Real lyricists are becoming extinct. There's no place in the game for me. I wouldn't conform to any record label's demands.
Band History:
I started rhyming when I was 14. I was terrible, couldn't put words together. I haven't got any Hip hop background as such so it took time to get to this level.
I'm 22 now and have recorded a slew of mixtapes which I distribute in my home town.
