I've always liked dance music in general, with taste towards trance, breaks, and drum n bass.
Why this name?
KOMOSHUN, making noise? hyping things up, I think it just fits in very well. Starting a ruckuss about yourself?
Do you play live?
Hardly, not enough free time and practice, but ive been to many events, and its breathtaking.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gets music out to people that might never hear it. I thought it was all about the music, I rather have more fans and listens, then be rich off my ass. Keep it to a passion!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, depends on the offer, if I can do this with regular software, imagine the potential with a full studio and more vocals i can control.
Band History:
Not a big one, ive been making tunes on and off for about 2 years, havent gotten into it as much untill about early 2004, most songs take 2-3 days to make then 2-3 weeks to clean up. After that i do a sampling of it and get peoples opinions. I just have to get inspired, and then I will come up with something in no time.
Your influences?
I love old school heavy metal, classic rock, even piano versions of songs. I have a open taste to music, and I try to build off of everything.
Favorite spot?
My inner peace........
Equipment used:
Reason 2.5, Cubase, Fruityloops, Acid 4.0, Ejay Mixer Software, Soundforge 6.0, and some others I don't use as often.
Anything else...?
I'd like to thank chiba for lending a ear and giving me advice. DJ Seque (aka chris) for helping me spin, and use his tables to mess up on. All my friends for encouraging me to produce trance and breaks. Thanks to anyone for positive comments, and F U haters if any ever arise. PEAS and keep it simple peeps.
