8 Trax Productions

A production company from Houston, Texas. Currently doing projects with Already Boys and Badd Ass Cousinz.
Why this name?
DJ Eight , 8 Trax Productions. You figure it out.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It can help and hurt the music industry.

It can help by providing a fast and wide range of advertising. You can sell your cd's local, nationwide or worldwide. You can meet new connects and cool people to work with.

It can hurt the industry by allowing the exchange of cd's which takes away money. To me, I feel the internet mostly helps rather then hurt the industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
To sell beats or do production, yes.
Your influences?
Production: Mike B, DJ Paul/Juicy J, Dr. Dre, Mannie Fresh
Favorite spot?
Houston for some reason is still my favorite place to be. Stayed in El Paso for a couple of years, to dead out there but the women were nice. San Antonio is another one of my favorite cities.
Equipment used:
Korg Triton Studio, BOSS Dr. Rhythm Beat Machine, DigiDesign MBOX w/Pro Tools LE, Edirol UM-1 MIDI Interface, Edirol UR-80 Control Surface, Various Microphones, Guitar, CD & Vinyl TurnTables, Opcode Studio 3 MIDI Interface, PC
