Pulled up the old tracks and remixed it
The funny thing about this version is I had everything synced up excatly perfect, but it just didn't sound right, so I went back in and purposly made the beats of the song sound a bit quirky and off in some places ..for some reason it sounds better.
This is more a 'Peice' of music than an actual song, this is more like a 6 minute introduction to the actual song.
All guitars were recorded using my Godin Multiac Electric Nylon String played line direct through a Line 6 Pod XT Live. Keyboard and Drums are Roland SC-D70 controlled by an M-Audio Axiom 49 and recorded with Sonar on an IBM Laptop.
This is just a quick little odd rythem experiment..This again has more parts to it and we are developing a lyrical base for it. This is my friend Jeff Wildfong singing a scratch vocal (Placeholder)..we really like the feel of this song a lot.
The Vocals were recorded during spring break 2011. These are just scratch vocals to kind of get an idea of where we are headed with this tune...
More Digital Editing Acrobatics, Sonar, Soundforge, Vegas, and a little bit of Acid tossed in to spice it up a bit.
This is a new guitar tune im working on, this is just a part of it. I intend to have vocals put on it.
A Work In Progress
Work in progress, Nothing more than a Copy/Paste job...BUT!..I am actually playing a real guitar and a real bass on this thing (For the first time in a long time) felt weird to pick my guitar up again after so long ...
This was a crazy idea that I tossed together one day. (Show the beauty of Digital Editing)
Another song experiment - this was very difficult to sing to because the actual keyboard sound purposly detunes itself just slightly the longer you hold a note...This is my friend Jeff Singing scratch vocals.
This was an attempt at creating a naughty 80's style Berlin-esq tune......
Country-Pop-Crossover
Yet another version, The Spanish / Enya Mix
A New Mix
Just a strange-ass song idea
Slow paced (Basic Idea)
Combinations of Acid Pro, Digital copy/paste operations, and recording of short parts to be cut up.
A Bizarre Rythem
Just a daydream
Main Theme for a PC game called 'Third World' that was never published. (See Back Issue of PC Gamer Magazine August 1979 under 'Redline Games & Activision')
I wrote and recorded this in about 30 minutes.
This is Dreamin' but a poorly mixed electric guitar version....
