Come and hear those who fear God, I'll tell you what he's done for my soul. Ps 66:16

Hello and welcome!

I hope you enjoy your visit. Thanks!

Do you play live?
Every chance I get.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The little guy is the big winner on line. The opportunities to be heard worldwide are endless.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not, after researcing I find it best to stay independent. I get to choose my own songs and do them how I want to, and any money I make is mine. It does depend on how the contract is written. If I can be me I'll at least consider it.
Band History:
I was born and raised in middle Tennessee, and grew up near College Grove (about 30mi south of Nashville). I'm the husband of a wonderful loving wife and the father of five children.

I'm a U.S. Army veteran of four years (1989-1993). I served in Korea, Ft Carson, CO. and Daharan Saudi Arabia. I continue to support the military in every way possible. Reminding myself daily that the freedom of our country depends on the service men and women worldwide.

Your influences?
Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Little Jimmy Dickens, Billy Walker, Ray Price, June Carter, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams (both sr & jr), Doc Watson, Gordon Lightfoot, Faron Young,Lynard Skynard, Most of the Grand Ole Opry (the real members not the junk they try to pass off today) such as Ernie Ashworth, Porter Wagoner, Johnny Russel, Del Reeves, Stonewall Jackson and all the other classic country stars that held true to their roots and didn't play for stardom but because they loved entertaining people, like the Carter family, Ernest Tubb, Minnie Perle, Jerry Clower, Jerry Reed, also great songwriters who lived it before they wrote it Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard. This may seem like a lot but it's what goes into my show. I spend hours studying and listening to how all the greats did it, not because I want to be them just in the same category.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere I can watch trains go by.
Equipment used:
I play a Gibson Epiphone, a Harmony electric guitar, and a Rogue twelve string guitar
Anything else...?
I believe that my music is a gift from God. He has answered a prayer from many years ago. I try to approach every show or event with that attitude. I don't always get preachy on stage, but do try to keep within the christian morals. I'm able to have a lot of fun because I can mix country and gospel, and that has allowed me to reach many different types of people.
