Melonie has been playing the saxophone since early childhood,
performing with several successful country artists.
However, she has now decided that gospel music is her home.
While her style is comparable to such greats
as Ace Cannon, Boots Randolph and Kenny G,
when it comes to the sweet mellow sounds that she creates,
Melonie CAN definitely stand ON HER OWN.
This gospel album has a soothing, peaceful feel to it, with songs such as "How Great Thou Art" and "The Lord's Prayer,"
as only Melonie can do.

I choose the name that my parents blessed me with, so as to keep it real.

I have been playing live in and around the Columbus, GA area, and I love it with all my heart and soul.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has enabled the little guy to gain some exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am currently signed with JPM Records, but if your people would like to distribute my label, then have your people contact my people and we can bump heads.
