Why this name?
i found it in a bin and said to myself...i like it, so i took it.
Do you play live?
yes, so far scotland only...and the most memorable was being on the same bill as one of my heroes, Frog Pocket.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think by wires connected to my frontal lobes that are charged by a car battery in the kitchen. Yes the internet does change the music industry....(tough question)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
i'd sign a record contract with the local tescos if i thought they'd give me one.
Band History:
i was born into a family of renegade urban deer when i was 9 years old. bobo the stag (my father) was always encouraging me to get involved in the family business of raiding bins at night for scraps of food but as soon as i was old enough to leave home at 48 i realised i wanted to get involved with music and sonic disturbance much to the embarrassment of the herd's elders. After being ostracized from the herd for two years, i finally managed to get a job as a male stripper in a go-go bar. Many months and many nights later of enforced, lustful abandon i managed to save enough money to get my first electronic kettle sound manipulation unit with the psychedelic maximiser plug in......the rest is history.
