We will remain faceless because we refuse the spectacle of celebrity, because we are everyone, because the carnival beckons, because the world is upside down, because we are everywhere. By wearing masks we show that who we are is not as important as what we want, and what we want is everything for everyone.

Band History:
Starting out as a predominantly instrumental-ambient 3 piece (as witnessed on their eponymous 1st album released in 97), The Vulcans later grew with experience and personnel to encompass a larger scope of melody-based songs. Embracing more variety and breadth of influence, The Vulcans released their second album (also eponymous) in 99, a harmonious blend of shoegazer/ambient/indie-rock (think of The Cure's melody meeting My Bloody Valentine's wall of sound). These major achievements paved the way for The Vulcans of today, a band at the zenith of their creative and entertaining powers. The Vulcans are proud to be releasing their finest output to date This Nations Saving Face?(2003), an album lush with vocal melodies, densely layered emotive instrumental pieces, and brittle anthemic 60's garage-psych gems that recalls the brilliance of The Kinks at their peak.
