Decap Goat is a project that came out of EXTREME boredom and a computer program used to make music. The results are strange, but amusing. A combination of hip-hop through a text-to-speech editor with a fun backbeat causes the pleasure centers of the brain to release certain chemicals that cause euphoria, and slight insanity.
Why this name?
At the WPI campus, there is the story of Gompei. Apparently, he had a pet goat that was very special to him. When the goat died, he bronzed the head. That's right, like u would a pair of baby shoes. The whole head. Amused by this idea, Decap Goat was born as a team name during a school function, and seemed to stick.
Do you play live?
Right now, there are no live shows. Will there be in the future? Perhaps, if enough material is written, and a way to play the songs is found....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
mp3 is amazing. Music, once published, should become public property. Most people who download entire albums will download them whether u tell them its legal or not. mp3's are generally used to preview an album before buying it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If enough Decap Goat was written, it would be considered.

History? i never liked history.
Your influences?
Interests include all forms of music, besides country and most rap. Some underground rap is good, but mostly, its all about what the person has, and i could care less.
