My name is Andy Moehagen, I'm 19 years old, and I play all the instruments and sing for Sparrows.
Why this name?
Because Sparrows are soft spoken and they can be beautiful when they take flight.
Do you play live?
I can't play live because I play too many instruments at once. I'd like to get a band going to play these songs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If I didn't have the internet, no one would no about me at all. In fact, a great deal of bands today would probably still be unsigned if it wasn't for the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would sign a contract with a major label as long as they didn't screw me over.
Band History:
I've been writing and recording songs for a little over a year on my own, with a big break in between because I was in a screamo band.
Your influences?
Copeland, Brand New and Jesse Lacey, Taking Back Sunday, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, The Starting Line, All American Rejects, Kanye West (for my rap producing)
Favorite spot?
I love Superior, WI and I love Florida.
