B.L.I.S.S.
Why this name?
B.L.I.S.S. - stands for (B)eats, (L)yrics, (I)ngenuity, and (S)ong, (S)tructure
Do you play live?
I play live when I can gather up a band, my venues have included NYC, MIAMI, to ATL. I love performing because it speaks volumes and makes people happy to let loose.
One time at band camp, ha ha ha but seriously after performing a good show a young miss stuffed money down pants, I guess the performance was that HOT for her

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps if you dont have a manager or public relations because no one person can be in a gazillion places at one time, and also people are tired of pay X amount of dollars for music that doesnt isnt worth it after 2 (radio played) songs
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I dont know, not too sure, I've sold 40,000 total from my two CD's "Just a Man" to "Damn if I do, Damn if I dont" so times that by 8 dollars, it's not too bad a deal, but "WE ALL WOULD LIKE SOME GRATIFICATION" from our audience via videos, syndicated show features and such, but you gotta get through the CORPORATE hoopla
Band History:
I started out as everyone else, doing demos, then realized I could do it myself and that lead me on the journey to finding out all the possibilities I had at my disposal
Your influences?
PRINCE after I read that dude: wrote, produced, arranged, composed and sung his own material, the sky was the limit for me. But also the others: MARVIN-with writing/singing, PARLIAMENT-for the funk, HATHAWAY--for the soul, STEVIE WONDER (need I say more)
Favorite spot?
NYC, I was born there and love it there, ((UM FRUM BROOKLYN))
Equipment used:
I dont do techno but gear is: JV1080,TRITON RACK, MPC1000, ASR10 keyboard, DM24, DP4, PT6, Reason, AKG 414&C2000B, HHB Compressors/parametric EQ's and a hold bunch of other stuff that would take too long
Anything else...?
Sometimes I get discouraged, but it's something like a drug that keeps calling me back and I get rejuvinated. Though I havent made it (MADE IT) I'm proud of my work, and the accolades I've recieved, I am good, I am great at what I do, I guess what I'm tyring to say is "I have left my mark" and that's all anyone aims to do when trying to succeed at this music hustle
