"Platinum Plus" is a symbolism towards the group. It symbolises the attitude we have towards our music. Platinum is of high value, and is prefered to many others. The three members of Platinum Plus are: "Big-D", "J. Stylez", and "Relentless".

We do play live. We have done various local shows in Tucson, as well as opened up for artists such as: Westside Connection (Ice Cube, W.C., Mack 10), O.D.M., 2 Live Crew, and Too Short. Our shows are usually in the summer time.

We can be heard all over the world.......thats a good thing, that exactly what we want!

Platinum Plus is a has a very upbeat style, if we had to be compared to someone, it would probably be Nappy Roots, but we have our own style. "RELENTLESS" has a West Coast sound in his vocals, he is heavily influenced by Tupac Shakur. "J. STYLEZ" has a more East Coast sounding vocal ability, he also produced all the instumentals on the debut CD, his major influence is Sean Combs. "BIG-D" has the Mid-West sound in his vocals, he also has a little of the dirty south sound going on. All of us put together, create a very original sound in our music, it like the full eastcoast, westcoast, dirtsouth, and midwest package all in one. A third of our album contains calm songs, not too slow, just calm. Another third contains the very upbeat songs, and the other thirds has the crazy upbeat material.
